Having trouble with your wi-fi?

Posted by: TkTech in Untagged  on

So for the last couple of days, my home wireless has been acting totally weird. Once in awhile, just when its idle, or when I'm in the middle of a game, it would disconnect! Without warning, POOF!

I've had this issue before, when I first got my wireless phone set, so I went hunting around the house for anything I'd left running that could cause interference.

Alas, I can't find anything that would cause it. So I head outside for a short walk to my neighbors house. Guess what! She's got this fancy new GE phone that operates in the 2.4ghz range! I managed to convince my neighbor of 16 years to go and get a new one that works in 5.8ghz, so I'm happily surfing the net again

The FCC really needs to get their act together. I thought the periodic buzzing from my speakers was annoying, but no internet?...
