So I got a job offer from a php temp company, they gave me a php/sql test and I guess I did pretty good, she wanted me to start pretty soon. The job would have paid well, it was $100 sign on bonus, 20% of the job cost, 10% extra if the customer as happy, and another 10% if it was done on time or ahead of time. Each job was worth $1000 to $5000 or more, so 40% of that isnt too bad....

She sent me teh forms for a background check, I sent her an email with the information, and I knew she would see my racing felony, so I was like "I dont want this to come as a shock to you or seem like I was hiding it, but I have something on my record that will popup in the check, I got a racing ticket, which is 8 points and that makes me a felon, but it shouldnt matter, because im not driving for your company" Her responce was somethign along the lines of "Justin Hyland, were sorry to inform you that we can not have anyone on our staff that is a felon, no matter what the charge is, good luck with your job search, have a nice day"

Blows, thats the first time that I got fired before I got hired.
