GURPS is my favorite system, hands down. I'm also fond of Amber Diceless, but you have to have a group that can handle the conspiracy/paranoia levels that get involved. I haven't played AD&D since 2nd edition, but I found it rather limiting. Champions is pretty good, but I don't see that it has any major advantages over GURPS. I haven't had a chance to play the Serenity RPG, but having gone through the rules it seems like it would be a lot of fun.

My opinion: GURPS is the most flexible of the systems mentioned, but can also be the most complicated (especially at character creation). Champions isn't quite as flexible or complicated. Both are fairly straightforward when playing if you don't go nuts with the optional rules.
Serenity and Amber Diceless are pretty easy and can be quite a bit of fun.
I don't care for level-based systems, so D&D/AD&D/d20 are not ones I'd recommend. - WingedPanther

Whats your favorite RPG? I played Guild Wars for a while, but lately I've found it quite boring. So I'm up for some suggestions. Got any? - John
